The BO7 and Warzone merge looks simple on the menu, but the reward chase is anything but. You'll be bouncing between modes, maps, and time-limited systems, and you can't really "finish" it in one sitting. If you're trying to tick off every unlock, it helps to know what's worth your energy and what's just a trap for your time. Some players even warm up in easier lobbies to practise routes before attempting the tougher stuff, and you'll see people talking about CoD BO7 Bot Lobby setups for that exact reason—less chaos, more reps, better muscle memory.

Operator Orders are the mid-match "do it now" missions that sound manageable until the zone shifts, your plates are low, and a squad is already holding the building you need. One game it's grabbing paint cans, the next it's checking a marked site, and either way you're forced into predictable paths. That's why they're stressful. You're basically advertising your plan to the whole lobby. The trick is treating it like a mini-heist: land close, loot fast, take the weird route, and don't overfight. If you get the order done and extract the reward, the camo or blueprint feels earned in a way normal challenges don't.

Then you've got the longer missions that play out over several stages. You'll snag a clue on one side of the map, move it to another location, and suddenly you're committed. People mess these up by chasing fights halfway through and forgetting the real goal. The final step is often survival-based—top five, late-circle hold, or simply making it to the end with the item still safe. It's a different kind of pressure. You're rotating earlier, playing cover, and sometimes letting a team pass instead of taking the ego-challenge. When these pay out, it's usually the big-ticket stuff: operator skins, chunky XP drops, and cosmetics that actually stand out.

If you're not trying to sweat every match, seasonal events and the shared Battle Pass do the heavy lifting. Events tend to progress no matter where you play—Warzone, standard multiplayer, even co-op—so you can knock out milestones just by staying consistent. The Battle Pass is still the backbone: you earn tokens, choose what to unlock, and even the free path usually has decent value tucked across the pages. On top of that, community promos are basically free extras. Link your Activision and Twitch, leave a stream on during a drop window, and you'll often come back to XP tokens or weapon boosts without lifting a finger.

The rarest flex items are locked behind streaks, and that's where most players hit a wall. Winning once is hard; winning back-to-back is brutal when every lobby has teams stacked with comms and meta builds. If you're serious about completing your collection, it's smart to plan your grind: do the riskier orders when you're fresh, save streak attempts for when your squad's locked in, and use promos to keep your XP rolling. And if you're short on time but still want to keep your loadouts competitive, a lot of folks look at services like RSVSR to grab game currency or items so they can focus on the matches that actually matter, not the endless housekeeping.
